
Chloe Green, a junior at University of Wisconsin-Madison seeking a dual degree in Dietetics and Community & Environmental Sociology, proposed to help make farmer’s markets more accessible to their communities. The Wisconsin Idea Fellowship program awarded Chloe a scholarship to work through the summer and fall with assistance from the Kaufman Lab, the Wisconsin Idea Project, and REAP Food Group of Madison to analyze ways to make farmer’s markets more inclusive to those receiving benefits from assistance programs like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program(SNAP).
