Please note the current requirements for Florida public health nutrition professionals:
• Nutrition educator positions require a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics but are not required to be licensed.
• Public Health Nutritionists are required to be licensed as a dietitian/nutritionist in the State of Florida. Public Health Nutritionists with advanced degrees and/or experience in public health nutrition may be eligible for higher-level positions.
