FL Dept of Health WIC Program hiring Nutrition Educators and Public Health Nutritionists

    Dear Colleague,

    The Florida Department of Health WIC Program Services currently has job openings for Nutrition Educators and Public Health Nutritionists.  Would you please share the attached information with your graduating students who are looking for nutrition jobs?  Graduates may contact me, or the contact person listed on the attached career opportunities list for further information about position openings in a specific county.

    Please note the current requirements for Florida WIC public health nutrition professionals:

    • Nutrition educator positions require a bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics. 
    • Public Health Nutritionists are required to be licensed as a dietitian/nutritionist in Florida.

                    The Florida Department of Health in Pasco County Dietetic Internship is now accepting applications during Spring Open Enrollment for the 2026–2027 class year. If you’re passionate about nutrition,    community health, and making a real impact through WIC, this could be the perfect fit. Applications are submitted through DICAS, and the deadline is April 15th. If you don’t yet have a graduate degree, no        problem—you can earn one while completing the internship.
