The Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track or tenured faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) as part of the Wisconsin RISE-THRIVE Initiative.
We seek an outstanding researcher with expertise in human nutrition, clinical nutrition, metabolism, aging, immune function, chronic disease, or precision/personalized nutrition. Candidates will develop an externally funded research program, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching (including our ACEND-accredited dietetics program), mentor students, and engage in interdisciplinary collaborations across UW–Madison.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.D. in Nutritional Sciences, Metabolism, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
- Evidence of (or strong potential for) extramural funding, scholarly publications, teaching excellence, and student mentorship
