    Current Student Advising

Advisors of the Master’s of Science in Clinical Nutrition hold graduate degrees in the field, and are well versed in the advanced skills needed for future clinical nutrition practitioners. Admitted students can expect the following academic advising services:

    • Assistance with clarifying professional values, goals, and academic potential
    • Assistance in developing a curriculum plan consistent with professional goals, the requirements of the degree program, and their own interests and abilities
    • Assistance monitoring evaluation of educational progress
    • Provide information on opportunities for community outreach and professional development

Advising will be carried out by telephone, email, Skype, and/or similar technology. All advisors will be able to assist in recommending the types of clinical work, or volunteer experiences the students might explore while in the program, based on career goals. Advisors will also be able to assist with application to Dietetic Internships, if applicable. Career advising will be an important aspect in student advising and geared to meet the student’s specific career goals.
