    Assistant Professor of Dietetics

    The Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Education and Health Sciences at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level starting August 19, 2019. Duties include teaching courses for undergraduate and graduate dietetics programs, conducting research, participating in service, and collaborating with colleagues.

    Required qualifications: a Ph.D. (by start date) in Nutrition or closely related field from an accredited institution; demonstrated potential to advise students, direct student research projects, develop curriculum, conduct research, communicate effectively, have computer/technology skills, leadership, and collegiality. The ability to teach undergraduate and graduate classes related to medical nutrition therapy, metabolism, and other nutrition-related courses.

    Preferred qualifications: Registered Dietitian; prior teaching experience at college level; clinical nutrition-related work experience; eligible to obtain Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist credentials for the state of Illinois, and evidence of professional involvement and service. Candidates may be considered for administrative duties related to Didactic Program in Dietetics.
